You will be responsible for the seamless handling of goods, from receiving to organizing and ensuring timely stock placement on the sales floor. Key Responsibilities
Stockroom Operations:
Oversee the delivery process, ensuring efficient goods-in and goods-out operations. Maintain an organized stockroom for easy access, manage delivery paperwork, and address discrepancies. Adhere to timelines for transfers and returns.
Inventory Management:
Conduct monthly inventory counts and quality checks to ensure accurate records. Prioritize deliveries based on turnover and management requests, process recalls, and support loss prevention.
Team Leadership:
Manage and motivate the stockroom team, ensuring safety protocol adherence and fostering a productive, collaborative environment.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with sales staff to ensure timely stock availability on the sales floor, aiding in the achievement of sales targets.
Operational Efficiency:
Assist with stock accounting paperwork and maintain awareness of store operations, supporting cross-functional teams as needed.
Requirements and Preferences
Experience: At least 5 years in logistics or distribution, with prior experience in stockroom management (preferably in a retail environment). Experience in tech retail or fashion is a plus.
Organization: Leadership, and time management skills.
Excel: High-level proficiency in Excel and strong numeracy skills.
Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Approach: Commercial awareness and a strong attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent communication and team leadership capabilities.
