Store Excellence Director

You'll be responsible for driving excellence in our New York retail environment. Your mission is to ensure that every customer has a consistent, world-class experience in store. This role involves overseeing the development and execution of tm:rw’s global in-store experience playbook, optimizing store performance, and leading teams to deliver outstanding customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

Global Retail Strategy:

Develop and implement the Global Retail Experience Playbook, ensuring seamless, high-quality customer experiences. Set adaptable retail guidelines aligned with brand vision.

Visual Merchandising:

Establish visual merchandising standards globally, ensuring brand consistency and adapting to local trends. Innovate displays to enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Customer Experience:

Work with teams to create immersive, customer-first experiences aligned with brand vision, training staff on service excellence and continuous improvement.

Sales Leadership:

Drive store performance by training teams, analyzing KPIs, and implementing strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction. Innovate commercial strategies to boost revenue.

Team Leadership and Development:

Mentor and develop store managers globally, ensuring teams are aligned with company goals and delivering excellent service. Oversee onboarding and ongoing training for high performance.

Operational Excellence:

Collaborate with stakeholders to create efficient processes across stores, manage inventory, merchandising, and floor operations, and implement loss prevention practices.

Reporting & Analytics:

Analyze customer feedback and key metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management

Requirements and Preferences

Experience: 7+ years of experience in a senior retail excellence position, preferably within an international or retail environment.

Operational Expertise: Extensive experience in retail operations, including visual merchandising, inventory management, and store compliance.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple locations with differing market needs.
