Candler building
Rising 24 stories above Times Square, the Candler Building isn’t just architecture, it’s always been a portal to the extraordinary. Built in 1913 by Coca-Cola magnate Asa Candler, it was once the tallest office building in New York.
A century later, it still dares to stand out.

Mid-century modern
By mid-century the Candler Building was something else entirely: a launchpad for storefront hustle, flickering fantasies, and the raw energy of a city in flux. It didn’t resist the chaos, it absorbed it.
The Candler in 1950's was less polished. More real. Still visionary.

Real time reinvention
In the 1980s, the Candler Building wasn’t polished, it was electric. Its once-grand Beaux-Arts bones stood tall above a street-level symphony of neon signs, theaters, arcades, and grit. The future felt uncertain. But the energy? Unmatched.
The Candler in the ‘80s didn’t apologize. It pulsed. It adapted. It endured.

Revival mode activated
By the 2000s, the Candler Building was no longer just watching the transformation of Times Square, it was part of it. A bold new tenant? McDonald’s, lit like a spaceship, wrapped the ground floor in gold arches and LED. Iconic, and symbolic. The Candler wasn’t fading into history. It was being reprogrammed.
The Candler of the 2000s didn't attempt a comeback but a reintroduction. Because legacy doesn’t mean static.

Digital naturalism
In a building that once bottled Coca-Cola and broadcast the buzz of old Times Square, tm:rw will transmit something entirely new. Inside the historic Candler Building, a new kind of energy pulses, Digital Naturalism, where nature and code collide in breathtaking harmony.
Once a symbol of early 20th-century ambition, the Candler will host a visionary escape from the noise outside. Past and future merge as tm:rw reshapes the space, preserving its bones, but reprogramming its soul. What was once a monument to industry becomes a sanctuary of invention. Organic textures meet generative design. Light shifts with movement. Curiosity is rewarded.
Welcome to tm:rw — where legacy breathes, and the future blooms.
